MTN ASAP: Empowering Nigerian Youth Against Substance Abuse
About MTN ASAP
The Anti-Substance Abuse Programme (ASAP) is MTN Foundation's flagship advocacy campaign launched in 2019 to combat drug abuse among Nigerian youth aged 10-25 years. Our mission is to discourage first-time use of addictive substances by providing relevant information and engaging key stakeholders across the nation.
The program has evolved into a comprehensive digital education ecosystem, delivering not only drug abuse awareness but also STEM education, leadership development, and career guidance resources through innovative technology platforms.
- Partnership with UNODC, Federal Ministry of Education, and NDLEA.
- Aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goal).
